Thirty-five years ago, on 23 February 1983, the M-WATCH Mondaine brand was launched. By coming up with the idea of creating watches that boast Swiss quality at an affordable price, Erwin Bernheim, owner of Mondaine Watch Ltd., teamed up with his son and realised his decades-old dream of creating the “Volkswagen” of watches.
